Make mornings and everyday chores easier to follow
Set a parent-selected alarm and a scheduled chore reminder. Check the wake-check result and reminder status recorded in your parent view. Recorded status is information for you to review, not proof that someone is awake or a chore is complete.
Set their alarm
On iPhone with iOS 26 or later, pair both phones, set an alarm from the parent phone, and check the child phone’s wake-up check and recorded result.
Schedule a chore reminder
Schedule taking out the trash or walking the dog from the parent phone. Check whether the reminder appears on the child phone.
See their recorded updates
Check the alarm result and reminder status as both phones sync. Compare the app’s reported status with what you actually observe.
Android setup
Check Google Play for availability on each Android phone before setting up.
- Use the same app version on both phones and follow the current in-app parent and child pairing instructions.
- Follow the current notification and alarm permission prompts on each phone.
- Test a short daytime alarm and a reminder together before relying on the routine. Reported status is not proof that someone is awake or that a chore is complete.
- Used an earlier test version? Contact support before switching. Do not uninstall or erase app data.
Set up Mom Alarm Clock on two iPhones
Before the first school morning, choose a quiet time to set up and test alarms and everyday reminders together.
iOS 26 supports iPhone 11 and newer, plus iPhone SE (2nd and 3rd generation). Both phones must be updated to iOS 26 or later. Check Apple’s compatible iPhone models.
- Start with both phones. Use two iPhones with iOS 26 or later on both, and install Mom Alarm Clock on each.
- Connect the intended devices. Follow the app’s current parent and child setup screens. Review permissions and reported alarm readiness, check that you are pairing the intended phones, and keep pairing codes private.
- Test an alarm and a reminder. Choose a parent-selected quiz, game, or printed QR alarm check. Test the complete alarm flow in both roles together, then try one everyday reminder. For printed QR checks, use the actual code supplied by the app.
- Read the result carefully. Check the reported date and status. A completed alarm check does not guarantee waking, and reported reminder activity is not proof a chore is finished. Check in directly when needed and keep a backup routine for important mornings.
Is your family a good fit?
Mom Alarm Clock is for families who repeat wake-up calls or chore reminders. Use the parent view to review the recorded alarm and reminder status.
Keep your normal backup alarm. A recorded wake-check status does not guarantee wakefulness.
- For iPhone setup, use two iPhones running iOS 26 or later, one for the parent and one for the child.
- For Android setup, check device compatibility on Google Play and follow the Android setup guide above.
- Use demo child details while setting up and avoid sharing private family information in feedback.
- For iPhone alarms, choose a wake check: a quiz, game, or scan of a printed QR code.
- Try a chore reminder separately from the morning alarm, and compare the recorded updates with what you actually observe.
